Southern Cross Saunas was founded in 2019 after our founder returned from an overseas holiday that unexpectedly changed everything. While overseas, a daily routine of working out followed by time in the sauna became more than just a habit — it became a ritual for recovery, mental clarity, and improved wellbeing.

Back in Australia, that simple pleasure was hard to find. Affordable, high-quality saunas were almost non-existent, and nothing on the market matched the experience he’d grown to love. So he decided to build one himself.

What started as a personal solution quickly turned into a business — and then a mission.
